Ownership and management team
Nick Temple joined Hotelscene as non Executive Chairman in February 2008.
He enjoyed a distinguished career at IBM spanning more than 30 years, becoming CEO of IBM UK before leaving in 1995.
He currently serves as either a non-executive director or chairman of several companies, mainly in the technology sector, that include Datatec plc, Datacash plc, FoxIT, Capula, and 4imprint plc.
Nick joined Hotelscene in 2004 and was appointed managing director in 2007. Previously he had worked for 15 years in the Travel Management arena where he co-owned a mid-size corporate travel company before selling it in an MBO. Nick went to the University of Denver and also attended the Business Growth Programme at Cranfield School of Management. He has a wealth of general management experience which he has applied in both expanding and contracting markets.
Nick lives in Hampshire with his wife and two sons. He is a passionate supporter of Chelsea Football Club and enjoys other pastimes such as shooting, golf and cricket.
Michael joined Hotelscene in 2008 as Finance Director. A qualified accountant, he trained with BDO Stoy Hayward in London. His career has focused mainly in the media and commercial property industries, in companies ranging from FTSE 100 to owner managed ventures.
Michael lives with his partner in rural Gloucestershire where he makes the most of the environment to pursue his interests in mountain biking, hiking and kayaking.
Will Joined Hotelscene in 2009 as Director of IT. He has 15 years experience in the travel industry and with a background in retail technology, his MBA focused on the future of retail and the emerging technologies. With an emphasis in innovation and travel industry leading initiatives, dating back to his time at Thomas Cook, Will’s focus is to continue to maintain Hotelscene’s technology leadership in the industry.
Will lives in Cheshire and has four daughters; outside his family Will’s interests include Golf and cycling.
